Roman Pizza Anyone?

In homeschool we learned about the Romans! So, of course we decided to try a Roman style pizza. I got the idea from one of my favorite places, Pinterest! We made a basic pizza crust, rolled it out, and place it on a pizza pan. Then, we drizzled our pizza with some delicious extra virgin olive oil. Using a baster, we made sure the oil was spread evenly. Next, we chopped up a fresh garden tomato, and fresh basil. We placed the toppings on the pizza, and added a finishing touch of parmesan cheese. The pizza took roughly 10 to 15 minutes to cook in the oven at 400 degrees. It was so delicious, even the kids loved it!
