No Knead Bread

Do you ever just want good bread to have? Weather to serve alongside a meal, or to make a delicious sandwich, or toast? My favorite is a no knead bread. You literally dump everything in the mixer and once it's all mixed together you cover it and set it aside for a few hours. Once its baked it's a great loaf for even things like bruschetta.

Today, I made one and added flavors to it. It turned out delicious! In my kitchen aid mixer (if you don't have one I strongly recommend getting one) I put 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast, and 1 1/2 cups of warm water. I got this mixing in the mixture and slowly added 1/4 cup of sundried tomatoes, 1/3 cup of green olives, and 1/3 cup of feta cheese. As soon as it was all mixed together I covered the bowl with seran wrap and let it set aside for 8 hours.

When the 8 hours are up, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the empty pot you are going to cook the loaf in, in the oven while it preheats. I have always read to leave the pot in the oven for 30 minutes before cooking the bread. I put the loaf in the pot and cooked it for 40 minutes covered. When the timer is up, I take the lid off, and cook for another 20 minutes.

This loaf turned out savory and delicious. I look forward to trying out different flavor combinations! Be blessed my friends,

and don't be afraid to try your hand at making bread as well.
