I absolutely love when inspiration just hits me. It makes dinner time so much more exciting! Tonight, I created my own version of a classic! Meatloaf is one of my favorites, but it's one that I love to try and make better. So tonight, I decided to use ingredients not normally seen in a meatloaf like: smoked gouda cheese, and potato chips.
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
1 cup of hand crushed potato chips
1/2 cup cubed smoked gouda cheese
1 Tbls of Worchestire sauce
1 Tbls of spicy brown mustard
1 egg
dash of salt and pepper
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
BBQ Sauce to top it off
Now, I tend to cook based off cravings. Tonight, I was wanting something....... smokey, meaty and filling. To some, that might not seem like a lot to go on but it brought on this creation. It is so easy!!!! I literally dumped it all into a mixing bowl, mixed it all up, and put it in my 2 qt enameled cast iron baker. I cooked it for 25 minutes in my air fryer on the bake setting and it was done. I fried up some green beans in a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, pepper, some garlic and called it a meal. It was a delicious, super quick meal for a family of five! I hope you enjoy!
