What does your family do for fun? Well, mine goes camping! We absolutely love getting outdoors and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. God has been so good to our family. When I began working for Pampered Chef I gave myself a list of goals. Long term and short term. One of my short term goals was to be able to buy a camper for my family because of our love for camping. Well, we did it!
I grew up making memories with my family traveling the country in our RV. They are memories I will cherish forever! My husband and I wanted to invest into our family in a similar way. We have taken our family camping for many years and have made some incredible friendships and memories. We have been on two camping trips this year so far, and after the first one we were able to purchase our first camper.
Not only is it exciting to hit a big goal with my small business selling for Pampered Chef, but our first trip was confirmation that we invested correctly. We had so much fun! Each one of us had something to do from playing at the park, riding bikes, fishing, being lazy in a hammock, good food, and of course good old fashion worship songs with and acoustic guitar played by dad around the campfire. When our group of family and friends gather around a fire singing worship songs to a God who provides and takes care of us all the time, it is just incredible and inspiring.
I know times can be scary, the unknown can be overwhelming, and times can get heartbreaking making us question our faith in the Lord. However, staying steadfast, persevering, and letting go of what can't be controlled, can truly lead to amazing times that you never thought were possible. God brought Pampered Chef into my life and has used it to blow me away, and show me that he really does hear my prayers and knows exactly what my family needs.
