I don't know about you, but I have been craving some yummy fried rice with chicken. It is one of my favorite comfort foods! Tonight, I made my own version using what I had in the kitchen. I had some frozen green beans, frozen pre-cooked grilled chicken, eggs, soy sauce, jalapeno, sesame oil, green onions, and pre-cooked white rice.
I got out my wok, and began heating up the sesame oil. Next, I sautéd one jalapeno, and one bag of green beans. Then I added the pre-cooked chicken. In the center of the wok I added two eggs. Once the eggs were fully cooked, I added the pre cooked white rice. After adding the soy sauce(to taste), and two chopped green onions to the mixture, it was the perfect dish!
I love fried rice! It is so versatile. I sometimes add carrots, peas, and nuts. It goes a long way, so it's perfect for large families. I almost alway have leftovers and I am feeding 5 people. Have fun creating new dishes. With all that is going on in the world, this is the perfect to time to figure out different ways to not waste what we have at home. Fried rice is a great dish to make with leftovers before they go bad. Be blessed my friends, and I am praying for you all.
